About the Founders

Cliff and Wendi were married in 2000, dreaming of raising a house full of children. However, God had a different plan. After experiencing a miscarriage and then struggling with years of medically unexplained infertility, God opened the doors to the incredible journey of adoption. We are beyond blessed to be called “Mom and Dad” by two amazing children, a gift we received through the miracle of adoption.

Throughout this journey, we have had the privilege of building relationships with various members of our children’s birth families. These connections have enriched our lives and strengthened our understanding of the beautiful, intricate process of adoption.

In addition, we’ve walked alongside many others who have experienced the pain of miscarriage, infertility, as well as those on the adoption journey. Our hearts are deeply committed to being a resource for those navigating these challenging and often lonely paths.

Our mission is simple: to Connect, Encourage, and Restore those who find themselves in the difficult and sometimes isolating journey of loss, infertility and adoption. We want others to know—there is always hope!

What About You?

Perhaps you find yourself in the midst of difficult times—grappling with loss, infertility, an unexpected pregnancy, or maybe you’re considering adoption or foster care. Perhaps you’ve been on this journey for a while, and no one else even knows what you’re going through. Maybe you’ve carried deep, unrelenting pain for a long time and are simply longing for someone to lean on. While we are passionate advocates for those facing loss and infertility, a central focus of M.I.A.2Hope is adoption, including education, resources, networking, and our HOPE Grant, which helps provide funds for those seeking to adopt.
